The Never Forget Femmes project is an archive of illustration and writing about queer femme representation on television. These aren’t the femmes of your dreams or even femmes that you might meet in real life. This project is about femmes as they appear on scripted television, often depicted by straight writers and actors. Volume One covers femmes in the 1990s, a time when there was a dramatic increase in the number of gay characters on television. This zine includes stories about 11 femme characters that appeared on network and cable television in the 1990s.
